I talked to my lawyer and she didn't mention about any kind of delay so can you please give me some more details about this PIM and how does it affect the whole process and slow things down.

scorion PIM process is a new additional step that is now part of visa stamping process. if you read around here you will find out more about it but in short uscis office in kentucy has to scan and upload all your supporting documents i.e employement letter etc that you might have used to get an H1 approval. The embassy you will visit for visa stamping has to review all the uploaded doc's before stamping your visa. Now I read in one of the thread here that someone in chennai has been stuck for over 3 to 4 weeks after their visa intvw just because the PIM process is not done. Hope this helps. Agree with you 100% - But Once you start a thread with assertive words peoples start relying on you.... I also posted lots of conversations between myself and USCIS but i was never assertive.
Anyway - this argument will go on forever.
Can we request SriKondoJi/likes not to post anything with strong Affirmative words unless they have some kind of confirmations beyond the general Public's assumption ??

I think this is high time for us to control our emotions and live with realities. Often times, the customer service representatives don't have up-to-date information of USCIS's policies, decisions, and announcements, and we should not take their response as granted. For example, If you call a service center 5 times a day and ask a same question, you will get five different answers. In fact, Srikondoji mentioned what he had heard from NSC customer service staff. So, we can blame neither Srikondoji, nor customer service staff, but only USCIS.:)

I filed my EB2 with the same employer. Did not get any RFE for PERM Labor. I have M.S degree from US. I am in the same job role from the beginning (Web Developer).

Well said ! It seems some people are under the assumption here that every EB2 has a higher IQ and skill than every EB3. I dont know where that logic comes from. Not to offend any highly educated EB2/EB1, but I have personally known so many highly qualified engineers who are extremely incompentent. A person's skill has no direct correlation with the EB category under which (s)he is filed. In my current job, I also know a EB1 engineer whose skills were questionable and was recently kicked out.
There is no reason to divide the community further. The notion of fairness is already destroyed due to pre-approved labor. I know someone who used it, and has a GC now. But guess what, he gets kicked out of any job every 6 months since he has no skills. Now , its easy for him to find a new job, since he has the GC. But 6 more months (or sometimes lesser) and he is jobless.
A lot of people had applied in EB3 since EB3 was current for a fairly long time and their lawyers suggested them
to do so to avoid additional documentation. Many of these people could have applied in EB2 as they had the required qualification including me (US masters). Just like you could have applied in EB1 since you have a Ph.D; but you decided to apply in EB2.
The catagory on which a person applies for greencard doesn't necessarily reflect his/her capability or intelligence. After all, if Michael Dell or Bill Gates had to apply for green card they had to apply in EB3. On the other hand, a lot of EB2 filers just fabricated their resumes with years of experience to qualify for EB2. But that shouldn't overcast shadows on real EB2 peoples ability.
I don't know from where you got your Ph.D but it definitely didn't inprove your ability to think rationally as evident in your post.

Dear IV,
Its not about me. I am planning to do a flower or some campaign that all will agree upon in less than a week. We must do before the next bulletin comes out.
Is it possible for IV to send a very good number of flowers to the departments.
The basis for this is that some of the people here probably may not be comfortable to send to all the members due to whatever restrictions they may have(ideally they must be able to do themselves). If so, we can start a new campaign and make some fund and once again shoot that may flowers to make some difference. IV can go to a big place and place a huge order. Just my 2c.

I fully support this donor forum. there should be some incentive for members who donate. they are not doing it because they have lots of money to spare, but they sacrifice because they believe in this cause. I don't think $25 is going to break anyone's bank. Just sacrifice something that you consume/enjoy every week, and donate that.

You need to chill out dude. I do not see anything wrong. Whats wrong in analyzing and preparing yourself for future. I have plans to travel in 3 months.After looking at this thread I think it might take few more months. I think this is a valuable thread.
Preparing for future is one thing but if you think that this is a valuable thread then go with it and enjoy, i just find it disheartening that people are trying to undermine whatever has been achieved by such threads (Like i said, he might be completely right but is there a need to tell it this way) and what are you going to prepare for the future ;) Do you know it ? (If you do, please keep it to yourself and enjoy or cry about it). Right now, i want to be positive and enjoy the fruits of what IV has done to get some relief, why use negative logic to undermine it and that is what i am saying. EB3_NEPA, I'm pretty sure that's how it works. They first use the regular EB3 numbers available.
Black_logs are you ABSOLUTELY sure that they eat into the EB3 numbers? On the Visa Bulletin, they have a seperate entry below the EB3. Just curious if we are getting this Schedule A thing correctly

I have just talked local Congresswoman's Office and I have talked to a staff member for 1 hour and she is helping me. She is going to call NSC and get to the root cause of this problem.

If you are reading this, do not lose hope. We have to try every avenue and knock every door that is open.
would you mind sharing what city you are in as its good to know that your local congress woman's office is helping you...
